Rotor Powermeters are crank type powermeters and are available in two different models. There is the Rotor INpower measuring on one side and the Rotor 2INpower measuring on both sides. With one-sided training systems the power is measured on the left side and then doubled. This results in the complete power of the rider, which is expressed in watts. With double-sided systems the power is measured on both sides. Double-sided power meters therefore measure more accurately and also provide more information for the analysis of the training data. With these systems, for example, the distribution of power from the left and right leg can also be evaluated separately.

A big advantage is the compatibility of the Rotor Road Powermeter with a wide range of wheels. The cranks are compatible with all bottom bracket standards on the market. You can mount the oval Q-ring Rotor chainrings but also all standard chainrings of other manufacturers.

The Rotor Powermeters are compatible with all common bicycle computers and fitness watches. We recommend the Garmin bicycle computers and the Wahoo bicycle computers as headunit for the Powermeter.

Rotor INpower Powermeter

The Rotor Power Meter is suitable for beginners and ambitious cyclists. The Rotor Power Meter is the cheaper version. The installation is quick and easy. The measuring technology was mounted in the left crank axle and is therefore protected from wetness and dirt. The Rotor Power does not need to be readjusted. If you already own a Rotor crank set, you can only order the left crank side of the Rotor Powermeter. A standard battery (AA) supplies the Rotor Power Meter with energy. The Rotor INpower is equipped with ANT+ technology, which ensures that almost any bike computer can be connected to the Powermeter.

Rotor 2INpower Powermeter

The Rotor 2INpower was presented in 2016 by Rotor. The Rotor Power Meter is suitable for ambitious cyclists and professionals. The measuring technology of the Rotor2INpower is installed on both sides. The measuring strips are located in the crank axle and in the right crank arm. The values from the right and left side are then displayed separately on the bike computer. The Rotor Power Meter measures power, cadence, balance, torque efficiency and pedal smoothness. Like the other Rotor Power Meter, it features ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart technology.

Rotor Q-Rings Chainring

The chainring of Rotor Power cannot be compared with other chainrings. The shape of the chainring is oval and not round. The oval shape of the Rotor Q-ring, ensures a better performance. A better performance comes from the fact that a larger muscle group in the legs is used and this provides a greater power development. Also the dead center is eliminated when pedaling. Due to the softer and rounder riding characteristics, the muscles tire more slowly. Rotor Power's chainring offers the rider the ability to customize the chainring for maximum power delivery.
